Today was Lemur and Mister's first day of preschool. They were SO excited. On Saturday, Sunday, and Monday they kept asking if it was time to go to school yet. And, since yesterday was such a cold, stormy day, they even got to wear their new, warm school clothes.

Miss J. has the kids make "Texture Names" for the first week of school. Part of the reason Lemur and Mister were so excited for school to start was because we were working on these names. They LOVED helping glue all the items on their names. Each item glued on begins with the letter it is glued in.
D=dots, A=ant stickers, L=leaves, L=lace (which Dallin can't ever remember), I=ice cream stickers, N=noodles

They had a wonderful time. Some of their favorite activities they did: coloring, playing in the play house (which had play phones, Dallin said), and hanging their names on the wall.

Your famiy is darling! Kristen sent me your way. It's so conflicting to send them off to school. It's peace and quiet if only for a few hours but on the other hand my heart aches for their return!!
