Before and After

Last summer we bleached Missy's hair, and she refuses to let me cut the blonde off now that it's so grown out. She did agree to dying it all darker, close to her natural color. So, the other day we picked out a semi-permanant color at the grocery store. Here she is before:

She picked a beautiful color. And she even let me cut her bangs again.

Keane

Last night Ben and I went to an awesome concert by Keane. If you don't know who they are, you can listen to their music here and find out more about them. I love their music. Tom Chaplin has and incredible voice. The concert was great. I screamed, I sang, I nearly lost my voice.

Mother's Day!

Here's a picture of my mom and me, taken on our way back home from Disneyland. I'm the shortest in the family, but Mom is slowly shrinking enough that if I stand on my tippy-toes I can look just barely taller than she.

Better late than never

California Vacation!

We had a great time visiting my sisters in California, and meeting Mickey! We spent one day at California Adventures--Ben and I loved the California Screamin' ride, Bug loved the Tower of Terror and even got a t-shirt saying he survived it. He rode it three times. The second day we went to Disneyland. Mister and Lemur were more excited to meet Pluto than Mickey. They loved it!

The third day we went to the beach. It was overcast, and the ocean was cold, but that didn't stop the kids from getting wet up to their waists. They had a blast trying to outrun the waves, bury each other in the sand, and build castles.
