This is what we woke up to this morning:
Lemur playing in the snow--yes, in his church clothes. I drilled him about not stepping into it and getting his pant-legs wet. He listened pretty well, I think.
Mister wondering if he should make a snow-angel. (He didn't...he was pretty good about staying dry, too.)
My poor Japanese maple. Buddy tried to shake as much snow off as he could. Of course, none of the trees had lost any leaves, so I hope there's not any damage to them.
My weeping river birch trees.
I'm not ready for winter to start so soon. We had such a long, snowy winter last year that I am NOT looking forward to shoveling snow again. Ben's promised me a snow-blower this year--a real one, not me.

Oh my goodness! That is truly sad to have that much snow in October! It was 80* here in Omaha, Nebraska. I'm not kidding either.
Sweet, you lucky girl with the snowblower. I love your quilting blocks, they look so good. Nice work.
Oh my goodness! This weather is killing me; I'm ready for 60 degrees and it was 84 at one point today! I do hope we have a snowy winter in our neck of the woods, though, this year.
Your quilts are beautiful, so far! I wish I had the patience to sit down and do that. I can't even figure out my sewing machine, yet! :)
C-R-A-Z-y Utah weather, huh? How about some Autumn - before winter!!!!
Tons of wet snow at our house I will post pictures soon.
What's up with the snow??? We didn't get anywhere near that amount!
And what's up with this blog??? Why didn't anyone tell me you had a blog?
One word for you: ARIZONA!! I love it!
