Oh, the pain!

I've never had braces, so I can't sympathize, but I can empathize. Buddy said "my jaw feels about 3 pounds heavier than normal." I'll bet!
Missy got pink, orange, and green rubber-bands around her brackets. (Bud's are black.)

They say the first week is the most painful. They've already found eating to be a much slower endeavor. Hopefully they adjust well to them and aren't in too much pain. Thank heaven for Motrin and Tylenol!

Oy! I remember the pain like it was yesterday. I feel for them. I was 20 when I had mine put on and wish we had done it when I was young. I love her color choices!

Makae complained for only the first few days and then it didn't seem to be a problem, well except for some of the food she eats, she had to give up and of course then eating becomes more of a chore. Ethan eventually got to the point where the only time it hurt was when they tightened them for a day and then it was fine again.

I can't sympathize either, but I have put on plenty of braces in my life time. From what everyone said, the first week is the worst and then it gets better. Ian gave up foods too because it became too much of a chore to clean them out of the braces, like popcorn. Good luck to them!

I wish I had braces as a child. Maybe I would have been forced to take better care of my teeth.
Which reminds me...I need to get Carter into the ortho and the rest of my kids into the dentist. YUCK I hate it....even when it's not me getting work done. Hate it Hate It HATE IT!!!!

By the way, I was so caught up in how much I hate the dentist that I failed to mention how cute they look with their braces on!

Oh, its good to get them when they're small. Heather wants hers on right now, so she doesn't have to wear them so much in jr. high. It only took a few weeks before Tyler's teeth looked straight, it's amazing.
