Jog log blog
I've decided to keep a jogging journal (at the bottom of my blog, for those who are dying to read it). Some people, like Ben, keep running logs, but not me. Mine is a jog log. When we were dating, I once made the mistake of asking him if he was going for a "jog". He told me, "it's really offensive to runners to say they 'jog'". But I'm not too proud to say I jog. I am a jogger. A very slow jogger. My jogging pace is a brisk walk for Ben. But he humors me when he "runs" with me, saying that I'm doing well, and he's really getting a workout. Even though his heart rate doesn't climb above 75. And he's not sweating. And he can hold a conversation like he's sitting on a couch. By contrast, I am gasping for air, beet-red in the face, sweating like a stuck pig, and looking like I'm 100 yards away from a stroke. I don't enjoy jogging, but I've come to the conclusion that it (or some other form of exercise) is a necessary evil in my life. So, I'm going to blog about it...not to bore you all to death, but to hopefully motivate me to keep at it.

Wow! Not only are you a "jogger" but you jogged over 3 miles in one day! A jog for me is around the block and down the street! Keep up the good work!
I jogged across the lawn today at Vera's and it felt weird. A little too much jigglin going on! I need to get back into it. Keeping a journal on here is a great idea!
I did really good last year, I went jogging almost every day. This year I feel I've donated enough blood to the mosquitoes and I haven't been as good. But jogging is more like being dragged for me! My labrador retriever is huge!
