Last Saturday, I caught Lemur's head with my eye. He was messing around on the floor and I made the mistake of bending down over him. He jumped up right as I bent over, and the top of his head hit me right under the eyebrow. The above picture is what it looked like in the morning, after many hours of icing, and Motrin. Very swollen, and a little purple. It got much more purple, and darker throughout that day.The picture below is what it looks like today--less swollen, and a hideous shade of yellow around the outer edges. This picture doesn't show it well, but the darkness and yellowness has also fallen under the eye. At least I didn't catch him with my nose, or a tooth.
I've never been hit in the eye like this before. I used to think I would be able to hold my own in a fist fight, but now I'm thinking I wouldn't last very long. Unless perhaps I got the first hit in.

how did you guys like that fireworks show?
I didn't even notice, so your make-up must have been great!!!! Once my dad was dropping pears to us below the tree to catch, and my sister didn't quite catch it. It hit her in the eye. Luckily it was dress up as your favorite actor/actress day at spirit week, and she went as Rocky. Everyone was amazed at her make-up job!!
Janette, you look so pitiful in that last picture, so sad.
